WHAT CLIENTS THINK ABOUT SARAH

“I have known Sarah since November 2023 and found her initial contact to be exemplary in terms of general replying to email. She was polite and quick to respond. I have found it a challenge to find the right day to fit in my child’s recorder lessons, but Sarah has been amazingly flexible and understanding in this regard.

In terms of her teaching, my child is ultimately interested in learning the flute, however Sarah counselled well and advised that given my child’s age and lung capacity this was simply too soon. As a result, we have started with the recorder and the plan is to move along to either flute or fife at a later date. That initial advice has been just right, and Sarah has “hit it off” with my child right from the start as she is calm, kind, gentle but direct in her teaching approach. My child is keen and looks forward to the lessons each time. I invariably comment on the wonderful tone Sarah manages to draw out of my child during lessons. She plays along with my child in duets when appropriate and gives good examples of playing when needed. Sarah always provides a page of notes summarising learning points and next steps for the week ahead at the end of each session.

I cannot recommend Sarah highly enough. She is clearly a gifted musician and a very natural teacher and would be a great addition to your tutoring staff.” - William, parent of private pupil
